Itinerary: Day 1
Sanlúcar de Barrameda is located at the mouth of the River Guadalquivir and
opposite one of Europe’s main nature reserves, the Doñana National Park. In the
old part of the city both its history and its famous bodegas share the limelight.
Visit one of the famous bodegas of the town and discover where the manzanilla
comes from and find out how it is produced, as well as how other wines are aged
using the crianza process. At the end of the tour enjoy a wine tasting session of
the best products from the bodega. Get to know the city centre, the original
Moorish appearance is preserved in the narrow streets that wind and zigzag towards
the sea and the river. The city’s most venerable moments are related to the
discovery of the Americas and the subsequent trading with the new continent.
YOUR HOTEL: A fantastic palace hotel in the city centre. Noble Andalusian style,
both welcoming and elegant.

Enjoy a boat trip to the Doñana National Park. Throughout your trip aboard you’ll
discover the beautiful landscape of Guadalquivir, the most important fluvial
artery in Andalucía, as well as the richness of the fauna. Disembark at two points
of special interest where you can explore Doñana on foot.
In the afternoon, return to the wheel and make your way towards one of the most
beautiful white Andalusian villages, Arcos de La Frontera. Perched over a
spectacular rocky crag, Arcos de la Frontera is a picturesque town dotted with
corners that hark back to its Moorish legacy. Get to know it in a relaxed manner:
immerse yourself in its labyrinthine streets and its rising slopes; listen to the
harmonious sound of the bells; wander through its patios and around its buildings,
typical of lower Andalusian architecture.
YOUR HOTEL: Small quality hotel in a typical Andalusian building near to Arcos.
Special settings and excellent service .

Itinerary: Day 3
Continue your way to Medina Sidonia, one of the towns of richest historical
importance in the Cadiz province. Located in the centre of the region, Medina
Sidonia has always been the meeting point of diverse civilizations. It was once
Phoenician, Roman, and then Moorish, but achieved its greatest splendour when it
became the ducal seat to the Duke of Medina Sidonia. The numerous buildings and
places of interest, such as the 1st century Roman sewers, will keep you
entertained throughout the morning.
In the afternoon, make your way to the last place on the route: Vejer de la
Frontera, packed with narrow white streets and characteristic patios, dotted with
colourful ceramic pots. Let yourself be carried away by the smells and colours of
this charming town. As evening comes, climb the steep streets and enjoy the
sunset from any one of the panoramic view points in Vejer.
YOUR HOTEL: Small charming hotel with character taking it´s inspiration from the
days when Vejer formed part of a great Islamic empire. Quality experience with
maximum comfort!

Itinerary: Day 4
There’s still more to see: Vejer’s narrow whitewashed streets which evoke medieval
scenes with a Moorish touch, its water fountains, the typical Andalusian houses
and its small palaces and churches spread around the town. See the San Miguel
windmills located in the highest part of Vejer. Visit the Playa del Palmar,
arguably one of the best beaches in Andalusia, or the Breña National Park and the
Barbate marshes. Located in the surrounding area, these are ideal locations to
spend a few hours in the fresh air of the great outdoors.
And as ever, the moment arrives to say goodbye. Without a doubt, there will be
more you would have liked to have done and seen. But don’t worry, it’s best not
to do everything so there will always be a reason to return.
